I come from a dog loving family. My best friend and protector when I was younger, Fletcher the Blue Heeler, lived an impressive 17 years! I am very active, love the outdoors, and am comfortable with taking dogs for a run (I have had some great practice with Willie the Brittany Spaniel!). On the other hand, I am a sucker for snuggly pups - just ask Bella the Miniature Dachshund! I have experience with dogs of every size and personality: Sugar the laid-back Redbone Coonhound, Pogo the feisty three-legged Chihuahua, Scooby the lumbering (but brilliant!) Yellow Lab, and Casper the scaredy-pup. I am comfortable with administering oral medications, giving baths, and older dogs who might have a little trouble getting around. I am also comfortable with caring for multiple dogs in the same household.
