I love animals and have experience with cats, dogs, horses, birds, chickens and fish. I completed a training course as a 9-year-old with my border terrier puppy teaching her basic commands and obedience. My family also had a poodle when I was a young child which I loved playing with. More recently I worked with a trainer to help a dog we fostered for a few months. She was high energy so we diligently took her out on walks, runs, and hikes and worked hard to avoid situations that were anxiety inducing for her. I’ve rehabilitated 2 of our chickens that were injured from predators and am committed to giving animals the quality care that they need.
