Pet care experience
My life is incomplete without dogs, so when I'm not home with my dog and studying at university, I enjoy fostering dogs from an animal shelter. I've fostered 11 dogs over the past several years, and my experience has intensified my love for dogs as I've gotten to know the amazing personalities of each dog-- from the funky 2-yo German Shepherd mix to the incredibly loving 85-lb Pit Terrier. Some of my foster dogs have had behavioral issues and would be reactive toward other dogs or animals, so I'm equipped to navigate that if your dog has any of those quirks. I have also fostered kittens and taken care of various cats for my roommate, neighbors, and friends for several years so if you also have a kitty friend, I can look after them as well!

Some important information I'd like to know is any current medication your dog is taking (frequency and quantity), your dog's vet contact, your contact information (for picture updates and in case of an emergency), if your dog does not like other animals or certain people (children, males, etc), and your dog's habits regarding feeding, sleeping overnight, or any routines they're familiar with.
A typical day
I love playing with your dog's favorite toys while we're inside and training them with some yummy treats. If there is a nearby park or trails and your dog would like to venture beyond the neighborhood, I would love to take them exploring there too! I'm also an avid runner, so I can take your dog on long runs or sprints depending on his/her energy level.

Availability
I'm currently studying at university and so I am most flexible to take care of your pets on the weekends! During the week, I'm generally available during the late afternoons/evenings for walks or drop in visits depending on my schedule that week.
