Loving care from Veterinary nurse!
Pet care experience
I can offer your pet love and top of the line care while you are away! My experience with animals includes veterinary hospital care, service dog training, and professional pet resort work, as well as both dog and cat sitting. I graduated from University of San Diego in May 2014 with my degree in Communication Studies and Business. Shortly after graduating college from University of San Diego in 2014, I started working as a veterinary nurse in a local San Francisco East Bay animal hospital I had previously interned for during college. I would love to be given the opportunity to look after your four-legged loved ones and I promise they will be in the best care! I started pet sitting at a fairly young age, as I have a strong love for animals and always had pets growing up. During my early teenage years I decided to use my passion for animals for a good cause and raised and trained a puppy to be a guide dog through Guide Dogs for the Blind. To see if I was interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary medicine field I held an internship for a year in the Bay Area at a local animal hospital. Additionally, that same year I also had an internship in the training department of Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael. While in college I also worked at a pet resort, where I cared for the dogs and cats in for boarding, daycare, training, and grooming. My final year of college I interned at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA in the Communications and Development departments. Upon returning from Guam, things fell perfectly into place and I began working for the same animal hospital I had interned for during college. As an animal nurse I do anything and everything from checking patients in, administering routine vaccines or medications, and assisting in surgeries. I can promise you that your furry loved ones will be safe with me! Why I love dog sitting I have grown up with dogs since a very young age. During my teens I decided to do something more serious with my love for dogs, and raised and trained a guide dog puppy through Guide Dogs for the Blind. After that, I went on the intern for a year in a veterinary hospital, and also held an internship in the training department of Guide Dogs for the Blind. I also worked at a pet resort during college where I cared for the dogs and cats in boarding, daycare, grooming, or training. After, I had the pleasure of being a veterinary nurse in a local East Bay hospital! My experience administering medication Yes. I am very familiar with the majority of medicines and medications, as well as administering them from my experience in the veterinary hospital.
Reviews
Kayley was extremely responsive and did a great job taking care of my pets. She sent lots of photos throughout the weekend. She was really flexible when it came to scheduling, etc. Left my apartment in great condition as well. Would highly recommend Kayley for any pet needs.
We had a great experience with Kayley! She was flexible and understanding of our dogs needs. It's not an easy task to make Lily feel comfortable and when we returned, Lily was relaxed and appeared to have had a great time while we were away. The apartment was left is great condition- even our packages had been brought inside. We would definitely recommend Kayley and will be utilizing her if available in the future.
Kayley was great with my 2 dogs while I was away. Highly recommend.
Kayley was friendly, professional, and quick to respond to our email messages but, most importantly, proved to be trustworthy. It is always a little scary letting a stranger into your home these days but everything just worked out perfectly. We would definitely call Kayley again in the future and recommend her to our friends and relatives.

Information Kayley W. would like to know about your pet
Although I do not have any breed specifications, I would like to know some background information about the dog such a typical habits, temperament, problems with certain dogs/kinds of people etc. I find any extra information you can provide me about your pet useful in giving both you and your dog the best experience possible.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog Generally speaking with caring for a dog overnight, I would expect to spend a minimum of six hours a day with your dog. While performing the tasks such as feeding, walking, and picking up after them, etc, doesn't take six hours, I think it is important to give your dog love and attention and be sure they are not lonely or missing their owners! Extra house-sitting services Yes! I have been house sitting alongside pet sitting since a very young age and am very comfortable doing extra tasks around the house.
