While I have never professionally looked after pets, I have long been interested in them. I grew up with pets and, once leaving school, began working part-time at a veterinary hospital. In this time I learnt so much, and my love for animals grew deeper. Since being old enough to own my own pet, I have lived abroad in the USA, South Korea and Sweden. In the USA, I lived with a family who had two labradors and a sweet house cat. i loved looking after them as my own. In Korea, due to my small housing, I couldn't own a pet, but instead volunteered at a local shelter and walked the dogs every weekend. Now I am living in Sweden, and while setting up my life here, I notice the one thing missing is an animal. While I am unable to have my own pet at this stage of my life, I would love to look after yours (and pretend it is mine) for a weekend.
