Growing up I was glued to animal behavior books and educational programs, currently I am attending a veterinary technician program and preparing my moms dog for service dog training. While owners are away on vacation I can teach dogs new commands and try to help lessen bad habits, if so asked to. When owners stick with training tips I can provide they see a big difference. I can also give dogs baths, brush, feed prescribed medications, take them on long walks, clean up after bathroom breaks, fill bowls to specified amounts if there is a specific diet, play tug-of-war, and provide plenty of attention while owners are away. Since many households have more of a variety of pets, I also can clean litter boxes and bedding, make sure food doesn't get mixed up, do fish tank water changes, and provide a calm environment. I have had many personalities in my own pets, new and old, so I know how to reassure pets with anxiety that I am someone they can be friends with. My schedule can be a bit messy but I always do my best to make time for fur-babies. I hope to hear from you soon!
