Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Kayleigh, I’m 23 and I love dogs, and cats! I have 2 years of dog daycare experience and almost a year of dog walking experience from my last daycare. I’m used to walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, energy levels, and dogs who are reactive on leash. My favorite thing to do is to help dogs gain confidence through praise and play! I also have 3 months of experience with rover in my hometown in Arizona, as well as watching my friend’s pets when they’re out of town throughout my adulthood. I have always had pets to take care of growing up and I currently have a dog (Avery) and a cat (Noodle) with my partner. They are both very high energy, which I love. There is no animal too high energy for me! Avery is both dog and people reactive, so that isn’t a issue for me. I love hanging out with lower energy pets as well! I have personal experience giving insulin shots, so I’d be comfortable giving your pet any injectable, oral, or topical medication, even if they don’t like it. I also know a lot about both cat and dog diabetes. I do not have professional experience walking cats but I do walk my own. I send daily updates with pictures. One of my biggest passions in life is my love for animals, and I can guarantee I will treat yours with the same love, respect, and care I give my own :) I would also like to note I only accept payments through vemno & paypal.

Kayleigh is very professional, responsible and caring. She is also reliable and dependable, and will meet and exceed any commitments she makes to pet parents. Our King Charles Spaniel George absolutely loves her. George has some separation anxiety issues and Kayleigh is super kind and gentle to him as he works his way through being upset when we leave. She is very attentive to George and keeps him occupied and entertained when she watches him, which we greatly appreciate because he's been known to cause some trouble when he gets bored! Excellent caregiver, highly recommended.

Due to my own pets I cannot take pets into my home. At your home I will do whatever accommodations I need to make your pet feel safe and comfortable! I will give them as much play time, walks, cuddle time, and alone time as needed. I read dog & cat body language better than I can read human body language and know the signs of stress & anxiety. I’m very good at sensing when an animal needs comfort or just left alone for a bit. I have been trained by both my daycares to look for signs of illnesses and medical emergencies in dogs. I’m very careful about letting dogs be physically active after they eat to avoid bloat. I know a lot about cat and dog diabetes and the signs for hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. I pay close attention to any abnormal cat behavior as a sign there might be something wrong medically as I know they try really hard to hide any pain. If your pet has any other medical issues I will research it as much as I can before they’re in my care. I will make sure I know the closest emergency vet and where your pet’s normal vet is just in case of any emergencies.

Also any known aggression or any history of getting into fights. Any diet restrictions, any health issues or possible concerns.
A typical day
Whatever your pet likes to do! I love chasing dogs for their toy and testing my strength in tug of war, I make play time the most exciting time! I can make dogs who don’t normally play let loose and have lots of fun playing. I play well with cats too! I just moved here from Az a few months ago, so I don’t know all the cool places to take your dog in the area but your dog (or cat) and I can find them together if they like walks! I make sure to praise dogs and cats more often than redirections to ensure they have trust in me and confidence within themselves.
