Pet care experience
I grew up with two dogs in our house at all times. I developed a love for interacting and being around animals at a young age which grew into looking for opportunities to dog sit almost every family with a pet throughout middle and high school ( think I knew more dogs than neighbors in our subdivision). This also allowed me to practice interacting with a wide range of behavior and types of dogs, and put to use some skills our family friend who trained show dogs taught me.

I have known Kayleigh for over 5 years. She is a wonderful person and is fantastic with puppies/dogs. She has watched, walked, and played with my 4 month old golden doodle puppy. My puppy absolutely loves being with Kayleigh!

I live in a house however am unable to bring a pet to stay with me. I am happy to spend as much time at your home as you would like to make your pet as comfortable as possible

I am open to all breeds of dogs as well as any ages. I would like to know if your pet has any specific behaviors that I should be aware of to ensure they are comfortable and safe during the time I care for them. If there is anything I should be careful of when caring for them.
A typical day
I am a runner, so I love taking a pup on a run with me if the pet owner is comfortable. I am hoping to get a dog of my own in the next few years, so if I can get the chance to practice obedience skills with a dog, I love learning and applying behaviors.

Availability
I am currently a full time student at GVSU. I spend a lot of time at home studying and have a completely online course load this year.With that said, it provides the perfect flexibility to let out, walk, and pet sit. I am typically more available on weekdays and in the evenings for walks or log term sitting :)
