Pet care experience
I've had family pets since I was an infant, and have grown up taking care of them as soon as I was able. Dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs. I worked at Pet Supplies Plus handling animals of all kinds for two years, and volunteer at shelters nearby. I can handle dogs both big and small, and have done a lot of research on training, grooming, and nutrition for both dogs and cats!

My kitties like Kayleigh and she is very reliable..
My cats were happy and very well cared for. One of my cats requires medication and Kayleigh was very attentive to learn how to administer an inhaler to a cat. Previously I had a different person who just dropped in and didn’t give the medication or clean the litter box. Kaleigh did everything perfectly. Everything was clean and nice when I came home. My cats were relaxed and not stressed out by my absence. Thank you so much!!!!
Kayleigh watched my pup for three days. She took great care of her, kept me informed, and left my home in perfect order. Highly recommend.

I am very good with house rules (no furniture, eat in a certain area, wait at the door to go out, kennel, etc) and maintaining structure/routine. I'm patient with the animals and observe their body language to determine how to best work with them to get a desired outcome so it's a positive experience for all parties involved.

A typical day
I enjoy doing puzzles and mental stimulation games with dogs, training them, and walking them. I like walking dogs to the park and letting them experience new things. After the dog is tired we snuggle and just hang out before dinner.

Availability
I work as a teaching assistant at Cadence Academy, and work 7:30am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I'm able to take care of pets before and after work, and on the weekends. If you live close enough, I can also stop in to take care of them during my break!
