Pet care experience
I’m a transplant from the greater Seattle area where I had the privilege of taking care of many wonderful dogs while friends and family traveled. I have been taking care of animals since I was 8. I grew up around many dogs, chickens, goats and even an Emu. I currently volunteer with Alaska Dogs and Puppy rescue and certified on Dog and Cat First Aid by the American Red Cross. Last year, Bucket, a Shepherd/Mini Aussie mix joined our family. He loves time on the trail and meeting other playful furry friends. He is extremely friendly and prefers when his guest are the same ❤️

Our pups had an amazing stay! We could not be more thankful, Kayleigh went above and beyond in caring for them, even worked on our younger pup’s fetch skills! I also love taking pictures of furry friends! Be assured you will receive many pictures and videos of your furry friend when they are in my care. We only board 1 or 2 dogs at a time to make sure they get the attention and care they need. We love having dogs that are able to feel like they are in their second home. Our doggie guests are allowed to roam free through our house, lay in our couches and encouraged to sleep close by at night.

Any special training or commands you’re working on? Your dog might not be a good fit in our home if they are extremely anxious, show destructive and/or aggressive behaviors.
A typical day
I love to show dogs a fun time. We can head to the park, one of the nearby trails, or just a nice walk around the neighborhood.
