Having grown up with dogs, from rescue to OAPs, I've always been around dogs. Since moving 3 years ago I've dog sat for friends and family and loved having a companion while I WFH, and love to give them lots of fuss and walks.

Bracken had the best time with Kayleigh and Dan, we got lots of photos while he was there which made me know he was happy and having a great time.
Kayleigh and Dan are incredibly great with our dog, she’s came home so happy and calm! They handled her amazingly, she’s a nervous dog and doesn’t do well with certain things, she was so settled and happy I’m so glad we’ve found people who we can trust 100% with our girl ❤️ thank you for everything
Kayleigh was great! This was my first time leaving my pup with someone overnight so I was a little nervous. We met for coffee to run through a few things and let her and my boy meet beforehand so when I dropped him off, he just skipped in without batting an eyelid! Kayleigh sent me regular updates and pictures which massively put my mind at ease seeing he was so happy and getting on ok. Can't recommend enough and I'm sure we'll be going back next time I need to go away anywhere!
Kayleigh was amazing pet-sitting our dog for 2 weeks while we was away on holiday, our dog is a black Labrador retriever 9 years old but still has lots of energy, it was like home to home for our dog I’m very fussy who has my dog and he loved staying with Kayleigh he got taken out to some beautiful countryside walks too. I will be definitely be using Kayleigh’s services again thank you so much xx

I have a fenced garden, and plenty of walking routes nearby. I allow dogs on sofas and upstairs (in my home office), however not in the bedroom. I love cuddles on the sofa and happy to play fetch in house or in garden. For walks please provide the most secure leash method for bigger dogs in particular - a nose or body harness preferred unless your dog is very well walk trained. Please remember that while your dog is very good with you, they may try and test a strangers boundaries. I do expect basic training to be completed, and do not accept any aggressive or destructive behaviour. I live with my partner, so dogs must be comfortable with men.

Please let me know if your dog has any particular triggers to look out for or avoid, and any allergies. Please let me know of their temperament in advance. I will require details of your dogs vet for every visit in case of emergency. Your dog must have basic training to be and I do not accept any aggressive or destructive behaviour. I live with my partner, so dogs must be comfortable with men. I prefer to meet and greet prior to bookings, to give assurance to both you as the owner and me, and to meet your dog so they don't feel they're being left with a stranger.
A typical day
I provide 2-3 walks per day depending on your dogs needs, and this can be on a busy route for socialising or a quiet route for a more nervous dog. Happy to set up any enrichment activities provided such as lick mats and Kong toys, and play fetch in the garden or house. Dogs are welcome to sit with me in my office while I work or chill downstairs, with regular fuss.

Availability
I currently work hybrid, with one day per week in the office. The rest of my week is spent at home, with before work, lunch times and after work available for walks, and not many meetings so lots of time to be with your dog. I'm out two evenings per week for 1-2 hours. My partner also works hybrid so we can ensure one of us is home during the day with your dog.
