Pet care experience
My family has had pets ever since I can remember. Not only dogs, but we've had bunnies, a bird and my mom used to breed puppies. From when I was born until about the age of 8 we had somewhere between 6 to 9 dogs. We had to adopt them out due to moving reasons, but even after that we've always had one or two running around the house. Now at age 19, I own two kitties both about a year and a half old, a beta fish, as well as a Corgi puppy and 5 year old German Shepherd. My aunty has a 1 year old Chihuahua that I have had to take care of several times for a week at a time when she went on a trip. I've had tom follow a strict routine with her and adjusted my schedule to her routine during the span of the time I had to dogsit her. My family trusts me the most to take care of any animals and have noticed the passion I have to be close to them. I know my ability and I am well capable to take care of any animal given the right instruction from the owner.

I would not be able to care of the pets in my own home because of the pets I already have at my home. There isn't much space for them to be able to safety play off leash at my home, however if the clients homes where to be a comfortable and safe space of the pet and the owner for me to care of them then I would definitely not mind that at all. I believe pets should be able to roam free both in the house as well as outside if there is a secure enough space to do so where they won't escape.

I think it is important to know if the dog is active or not so that an effective day can be planned with the pet. I also think it's important to know if the pet is easily sociable and is okay being near other animals to make sure the necessary precautions are taken to keep the dog that is being cared for as well as to protect other animals and pets near.
A typical day
I live on the east side of Oahu. It's a very safe and secure neighborhood area. I would most likely take pets to the local parks in my area. There's a lot of open and safe play area for dogs of all sizes. There's also a dog park near my neighborhood if the owner is comfortable with their pet going. I also live near a few beach parks that usually aren't very busy during the weekdays, which would be perfect for a water dog, of course only if the owner is comfortable.

Availability
Look after my pets is pretty much what I regularly do on a daily bases if I'm not at work. At my current job I work 4 days a week which leaves 3 of my days open and I usually don't have much planned during those times. I would love to get out and take care of some animals on that free time I have. I also live in a neighborhood where dog walking is super frequent and you'll see at least 3 people walking their dogs just on my street.
