Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover ever since I can remember. I'm very used to medium and large sized dogs and I have some experience with small dogs, too. I’m not picky about breeds either, I’ve known several pitbulls and believe them to be sweethearts. I grew up with a lab mix named Josie and currently live with a lovable black lab. Walks and runs with them are some of my favorite memories and one of my favorite leisure activities now! I enjoy walks and jogs and anticipate having the energy to keep up with any dog I meet. I have no issue picking up after dogs and haven't met a dog I didn't get along with. For drop-in visits, I have no issues if other pets (cats or caged animals) are present, but my services are limited to your canines. I go to school on Fridays, volunteer Wednesday mornings, and work evenings. I'd love to spend my free time meeting your four legged family member(s)!

I have several clients who I've been dog-sitting for longer than I've been on Rover and have been asked to drop in on pets, but most of the time I've providing house/dog-sitting services in clients' homes which allows them to take trips without boarding their animal somewhere unfamiliar.

The more I know about your pet the better! I've worked with dogs who have furry siblings, dogs who don't like other dogs & need to redirect on walks to avoid interaction. Whether your dog comes right to me or takes some time to get used to me, I am attentive and patient and will do everything possible to make my time with your pet as stress-free as possible.
A typical day
I am very adaptable and have taken care of animals with all kinds of routines. Whether your dog goes outside every 2 hours, walks for 30 minutes 5 times a day, or prefers to play catch in the backyard I'm here for it! My main goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as they are with you and I believe keeping to their routines and habits are key.
