Pet care experience
My name is Kayla. I have been an animal lover my entire life. Growing up, I have had several dogs, cats and lizards. My daughter Khloe, who is 9, also shares the love for animals. We volunteer at the humane society and are always happy to pet a passing dog on a hike or in the park. I have worked in pet grooming and worked at with exotic animals at the Winston Wildlife Safari and Great Cats World Park. We currently have a Manx cat named kitty maow maow and a leopard gecko named Buddy.

Kayla and Khloe were the best! We felt very comfortable leaving Niko with them and got updates throughout our trip. They are definitely animal lovers and we won’t hesitate to use them again!

A typical day
Well Central Oregon is full of awesome dog parks and trails. I can do walks around the neighborhood or out in the wilderness. My daughter and I love to throw the ball around. We also enjoy training. I trained all my childhood dogs. Positive rewards.

I work from home. I have a fenced backyard and a small/medium dog door to the backyard. My daughter goes to school 9-3:30. She will be a caregiver as well
