I've cared for and been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember. My family, being genuine lovers of nature, instilled a sense of care and passion for animals that'd I've carried with me from childhood. I have 15 years experience caring for and training all kinds of dogs with varied needs and preferences, whether that be specific diets or exercise routines. I can be stern, yet loving to correct behaviors while still remaining upbeat and active to match the energy of dog I’m engaging with! My years of experience, from having my own pets and fostering rescues , combined with my ability to soothe animals’ nerves make me an excellent dog sitter ! I’ve cared for all kinds of animals, from puppies to elderly dogs, from parakeets to cats— oftentimes handling more than one at once. I can't wait to get to know and learn your animal friend and use my experience to meet both of your needs.

Kayla was eager to to do drop-in visits with our Yorkshire Terrier puppy knowing personally alot about this kind of energetic breed. Our puppy is also at times a finicky eater. She sent photos and feedback about her successful interactions and is even willing to tackle future bookings.

I live in an apartment with 2 small outdoor spaces for dogs to play/use the bathroom. However, I live within 5 minutes walking distance from forest park and frequently walk throughout the park.

I cannot sit dogs who aren't able to be around other dogs or people as I live in an apartment . I would like to know diet, desired exercise, how the animal interacts with strangers, and favorite treats and activities.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy walks around my community and at local parks, playing fetch and learning tricks. I will also allow your dog to hang out with me in my apartment and stroll freely on my fenced patio.

Availability
I currently have a flexible work routine and have a bulk of my evenings open. I can begin at 7AM and stay with your pet until 9AM or post- 4PM on any week day. Weekends are variable, yet flexible.
