Pet care experience
Hi, thanks for checking out my profile! I began my petsitting experience up in Northern Colorado 5 years ago all through college. I'm new to Richmond, but I'm excited to meet new furry friends! I have many references and am very comfortable with getting to know the unique personalized care you give your pets so that they can feel just as comfortable with me as they do with you.

We had kayla watch our boy while we went on a 4 day vacation and she did amazing! She followed everything we asked her to do and kept us updated on how everything was going. I felt like I did not have to worry about my pup while I was on vacation because he was in good hands with Kayla ! We will definitely be using her services in the future. Thanks so much Kayla! ♥️
Kayla helped take care of our two dogs when we were out of town for a day-trip. She scheduled a meet-and-greet ahead of time, was great with the dogs, taking the time to observe and get to know them and their routines. She asked all the right questions, and was very detail oriented. On the day of our trip, she was very punctual with her visits and sent lots of pictures and updates. We were absolutely certain our fur babies were being well looked after! Kayla is great to work with - warm, personable, dependable and communicative. We will definitely book her again!

I care for pets as if they were my own and I am very aware and respectful of the lengths pets can be alone for per the parent's request. I keep homes the same way you leave them, bring in the mail and packages, water plants, and most importantly I ensure all doors to the home are locked and secure each time I visit and/or stay the night. Your pet's safety is my top priority when I'm with them. Please let me know any information I may need to help keep them safe and healthy while you're away.

Before I can accept requests, it is important for me to be informed of your pet's specific needs to determine if I'm able to give them the kind of care that you prefer. Please message me anything I should know! If I am able to help out, I always require a meet & greet before booking requests. :) Note: I cannot accept pets who are possessive or aggressive for the safety of them and myself.
A typical day
While all of my visits are personalized to best suit your pet's needs, I love to spend lots of time outside with your pup (if weather permits). Whether it's by walking them around the neighborhood, throwing a ball around the yard, running laps around the pool, or even just sunbathing with lots of scratches and cuddles, I love doing whatever makes them the most happy! I have lots of experience with high-energy needs and love to play with pups inside and outside the home. If you have kitties, I love playing with them using feather wands, tossing a treat down the hallway so they can chase and attack it, or just simply brushing them with love and cuddles. Let me know what your kitty loves the most! :)

I'm a recent graduate who's still doing lots of studying, but petsitting is a huge hobby of mine so I make a lot of time for it! However, I cannot confirm my availability for more than 2 months out since life happens and my availability can change. Check out my calendar for my availability!
