I've grown up with dogs all my life, so I understand how to be responsible, reliable and relaxed around them. I have a great passion for animals, and I'm not afraid to have quality playtime with them. I'm constantly asked by my friends to pet sit for them because of my enthusiasm for both dogs and cats, and I find it a joy opposed to a chore or job. Because this is a second job for me, I'm treating this as an opportunity to add a little happiness to my week and I think animals have the ability to add joy to your life, so this opportunity will be a happy job, which will make me extremely dedicated and thrilled to come to work for families. In terms of dogs I've watched/walked before, I've worked with all shapes and sizes. Little dogs to giant wolfhounds, or calm canines to goofy energized ones. I think that my background in musical theatre really has taught me to be aware of others (including dogs!) and read them well, so I definitely know when a dog is hungry, thirsty, scared, needs a potty-break, or anything in between. Something that I excel at is really listening and reading a partner, so I'd be able to care for your dog(s) and know what they need and when they need it. I would love to be chosen to work with any number of dogs, and I think not only would they offer me a little joy in my week, but I think I would offer them a little joy as well with our time together.
