Pet care experience
Hi there! I grew up with cats and dogs, learned how to train them and take care of them responsibly. My love for pets led me to rescuing two dogs of my own - I have a 6 year old dog I rescued when she was 1, named Roxie (50lbs), and I just rescued a puppy last year and he is now 1 year old, named Freddie (currently 55lbs and counting!). I've taken care of friends' and family's dogs/cats as well and I love making sure pets are well cared for even after I've left! I'd love the opportunity to help out however I can with your fluffy family members :)

I had Kayla walk my dog while we were away...she sent pics and my pups were very happy!!! She played and spent time with them like they were her own! I will be using Kayla on a regular basis now! Thank Kayla, you're the best!!!
Kayla used to be my roommate and I have a 60 pound American Bulldog mix that she took very good care of while I was at work. She’d play with him, take him for walks, and work with him on some training techniques I’d been using. He’s leash reactive and she is very familiar with that so she was able to handle him well on walks. She cares a lot about animals whether they belong to her or not, and I have no doubt she’d take amazing care of your pet and exceed your expectations.
Kayla is super kind and loves to laugh. She's very very thorough and you can trust she will do a great job with your fur babies.
Kayla has walked my 85-lb dog, Bear, for several months now. She obviously loves and understands dogs, and has helped us work on some of Bear’s reactive behaviors toward large vehicles and some dogs. She’s awesome and I completely trust her with Bear!

I am not currently offering care in my own home simply because my older dog has been attacked by dogs at the dog park before and right now I don't really want to put her through that stress of meeting new dogs in her own home; however, I will gladly watch your pet(s) at your home! I love taking my dogs for walks so I'd love to do that for your dog, I've learned many training techniques over the years, and I'm comfortable with any size dog. I also am very attentive to a dog's water situation - I will always make sure a dog is getting enough water or has fresh water in a clean bowl, especially in the hot summers. I love to play with dogs and will gladly give your dog something I do for my dogs which gets their mind working and tires them out - you put some treats in a towel and knot it up so they have to try and undo the knot to get to their treats. This stimulates their brain and also keeps them busy! I also love, in the summer, doing a bowl that you freeze with treats/snacks like blueberries and carrots that takes them a bit to get to. I take very good care of my dogs, and I'd love to do the same for your pets!

I definitely need to know if your dog is on tick prevention, because if not I'd definitely avoid wooded areas or tall grass. I will need to know of any allergies/medications, of course. And finally, I like to know how your dog is around other dogs so I know what to expect when I take them out for walks :)
A typical day
I will do anything you are willing to let me do! I will take them for a car ride to the park and take them for a walk there, or I can walk them around your neighborhood. We can play, work on some tricks, etc.

I'm currently on hiatus from my film career, so I am driving for Uber and just looking to make a little extra money, spend more time around animals, and help you out! Because my work schedule is so flexible, I can be extremely flexible to help you out as well.
