Pet care experience
Aloha! I come from generations of family surrounded by pets. We consider them as family members. I grew up most of my childhood caring for pets (3dogs, 2cats). Later, my husband and I adopted 2 cats of our own from a non profit rescue agency. One of our cats got diagnosed with cancer later in life and we cared for him until we had to say our heartbreaking goodbyes. Our other cat (15yo) is still with us today. We also fostered puppies for a few months with a non profit rescue organization in Puerto Rico. We’re excited and look forward to getting a dog of our own some day.

My dog can be really timid with strangers but quickly warmed up to Kayla due to her kind demeanor! Her communication is excellent and it really put my mind at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely invite Kayla to care for Dino again!
Kayla has a special place in her heart for animals and you can tell that when you are around her. She’s is very caring and attentive to our needs and request, and always punctual. We choose Kayla in caring for our dog because we trust her and know that our dog is in great hands. Definitely recommend!

I’m not certified in medical pet care nor am I a trainer. With that being said I require a meet and greet prior to any new client appointment to help ensure that we are a good sitter-pet match for each other.
A typical day
For pet check ins I can play with them, provide brushes, and give food and water. For walks we can set up a tracker to ensure the full 30mins. All my services I will include photos and updates.

Availability
Both my husband and I are originally from Maui. My husband is active duty military. I’m currently a full time stay at home parent with our 3yo. We are an active family that enjoys being out doors. Pet care seems very fitting. My availability is mainly mornings and later afternoons.
