Hi there -- I'm Kayla! I'm a dog-loving Ivy league educated young professional living in the West Village/Chelsea area. I’ve had several dogs and gained experience dog walking/sitting for others while living in Boston and New York! I’ve helped train 3 puppies in the past two years and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes ranging from 10-85 lbs.

Kayla watched my one year old dog and everything went well and he seemed happy! He insists on a lot of attention and wasn’t crazy when we got home so she must have played with him enough. No issues walking him and he’s 60 lbs and reactive around other dogs so it’s not that easy. She also left our apartment as-is and as far as I could tell she followed all of our instructions. Overall would recommend!
Kayla was awesome with my dog Frankie. She was super responsive and sent me a lot of pictures while we were away. I definitely recommend her!

I am very attentive with all the animals in my care. When picking up for walks or pet sitting in your home, I would like to know in advance how your pet reacts to strangers or if there are any spots “off limits”. For bookings at my home, I live alone (no other humans or pets) and only accept one dog at a time, so you can be sure they are getting the individual attention they deserve. For walks, I would like to know how friendly or reactive your pet is with other dogs and people in order to make sure I am properly prepared for all encounters.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks, particularly around West Village and Meatpacking, and along the West Side Highway. If your dog is properly socialized for dog parks, I am also happy to take them there at your request
