Pet care experience
I have a beautiful standard poodle puppy and have been training/taking care of her for the past 2 and a half years. I also took care of my family standard poodle Marley for 11 years, since I was 10 years old. He recently passed away due to terminal cancer, so I know how to play, accommodate and take care of dogs at all stages of life and comfortability. I also love kitties and have taken care of my friends and families cats since I was 10. I am available in all parts of Marin from Mill Valley to Novato! I am currently a college student working towards becoming an Occupational Therapist and hope to incorporate animal therapy in my practice. I would love to come play with your pup so you can relax, work, or travel :) In your home, I will be responsible and respectful of your personal items. I will give your pup all the snuggles they want and clean up after my self. I do require a free quick meet and greet session with all new dogs to ensure safety, learn more about them and their likes/needs. This way I can provide the best care for them.

Kayla was an excellent dog sitter! Our dog is a bit shy with new people, but they bonded quickly, and by the time she had to leave he was giving her kisses and didn’t want her to leave. Would hire again!
It was a joy to work with Kayla. She is a dog whisperer and my cat loved her too. She took meticulous care of our animals as well as our home. Her communication prior to and during the visit was impeccable. She didn't make assumptions and if there was any question, she asked. It is clear that she had a lot of experience working with animals. She was so kind to send photos of our babies enjoying themselves with her. We had a family emergency during her stay and she was so kind and professional. Many thanks to her, my furry family looks forward to her next visit with us.
Kayla was great! So sweet and good with my dog. She let me know when she arrived and also sent a note when she was leaving. Rocky was a very happy guy when we returned ?. We look forward to Rocky spending more time with Kayla.

I have a quiet apartment and will allow pups on the furniture with me (if you are okay with that). I don't have a back yard but can take them for plenty of walk around my relaxing/quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately I can not take cats in my home as there are family members with cat allergies.

PLEASE READ: I am working for school full time, so my schedule is a bit limited and I will NOT be able to stay at your house all day on week days. Currently my availability is: Mondays: After 6pm, walks, drop ins or overnights Tuesdays: After 6pm for walks, drop in and overnights Wednesdays: After 6pm for walks, drop ins and over nights Thursdays: After 6pm for walks, drop ins and overnights Fridays: After 6pm for walks, drop ins and overnights Saturday & Sundays: 10am-7pm for drop in and walks, also available for house sitting
