Like most people on Rover I have a love for pets and all animals. I have been caring for other people's pets (dogs, puppies, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunny’s) for many years. Whether it be my friends, family, or the pets of people I was babysitting their children, I've been caring and looking after pets since I was 12 years old. I've cared for multiple dogs and cats at the same time. I currently have a Cavapoo puppy named Tucker. I'm a registered dietitian and personal trainer so I'm a very active person by nature and for that Tucker gets plenty of activity and stimulation as well. I pride myself on having a well-behaved and well-trained puppy (he is still a puppy so he still has some learning to do, but he’s trying :)). I have a fenced in backyard that has quite a bit of space to be able to care for a variety of sizes of dogs. I love animals and care for most of my friends dogs or cats while they are away. In college, I shadowed a veterinarian and vet techs for 5 months to see if that would be something I would want to do career wise. I loved it except when it came to the animals needing to be put down due to health related or other unforeseen circumstances :( :(. So I decided to just get my animal fix through pet-sitting and did not pursue a career working with animals in the vet-capacity. I would love the opportunity to get to know and care for your fur-baby :).
