I’ve owned and been around pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine not having them as part of the family. I even grew up watching Animal Planet shows like ‘Dogs 101,’ ‘It’s Me or the Dog’ (a dog training series), and Cesar among many others. I’ve had both cats and dogs in the past and raised them since they were babies. I also worked for a year at a local pet store. These factors have provided me with skills and knowledge with animal behavior, products and pet care, and training. When it comes to training I personally have a preference of only using positive reinforcement including treats and toys when working with animals as I believe it creates a stronger, positive association for your pet(s).
