I’ve been around dogs my entire life! Ever since I was about 4 years old I’ve had 3+ pets in my household and at one point had 7 dogs I lived with. I currently have 4 lab mixed dogs, 3 of which are rescued! They lived a life of trauma before they were rescued and had extreme anxiety and social problems but I’ve carefully learned how to gain their trust and love! I’m extremely gentle, kind, caring, and positive so I can easily get along with pets and understand those that might be scared at first! I am 22 living with my parents so luckily I have help with taking care of all of my dogs. With that being said, I have great experience with walking, feeding, and taking care of pets, even puppies! I also worked for Chewy, the online pet store for a few months as a customer service rep; it goes to show my deep love for having pets and understanding others that have them! I do currently go to college full time, so it has been hard to find jobs that are flexible enough or allow me to take a day off when I need to study. Aside from that, most of my employment experience lies is customer service. I’ve worked in this industry for about 3+ years now, going from a cashier at Fry’s all the way to a server at the Cheesecake Factory. With that being said, I have excellent communication skills and I am an incredibly empathetic person. This job is perfect for me considering my schedule pursuing an education and already having so much experience around dogs!
