I have always had a love for dogs and all other animals! When I heard about Rover it seemed like a great opportunity to do something I love! There is seriously nothing I'd rather be doing than hanging out with a dog! If fact, if I didn’t have a job I would be happy hanging out with pups 24/7! My husband Garrett and I live in the Indian Creek neighborhood in the Cane Ridge area. We have a fenced-in backyard, and while it’s not very big it does provide plenty of space to run and play! Our front yard is much larger for playing ball, and we live at the end of the cul de sac so there is very little traffic near my home. There is also a greenway and playground only two blocks from my home we can walk to for playing! My husband will help care for your fur baby and he equally as much experience as I do taking care of dogs (maybe even more). He previously worked at a vet clinic helping with procedures and exams. We both have a passion for caring for dogs and are really excited about watching your pups! My dogs will also be around to help and play with -- we’ve got an English Bulldog who is very lazy and loves playing tug-o-war -- and we have a Terrier mix who tends to keep to herself, but will occasionally steps in and plays with dogs her size. We’ve cared for all types of pups, including Bulldogs, Boxers, Terrier mixes, Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Labs, Pomeranians and more! In the past we have fostered stray dogs from the shelter and volunteered at the shelter when we lived in Alabama. I will only watch dogs who are well trained and listen to simple commands. I will not be a good choice for a dog who does not listed and misbehaves. I require a meet and greet before all bookings. No yard diggers! We will consider watching dogs 40+ lbs with prior approval and will watch bulldogs of any size:) My true passion is playing with dogs, caring for them and it makes me incredibly happy to take care of other’s pups! If your pet stays with us, we promise to play with a lot of toys, give treats (if that’s OK with you!) and exercise as much as the pup needs. Other than watching dogs, I like to work outside in my garden and visit the local farmer’s and flea markets. But playing with my dogs and meeting other dogs is my favorite thing to do!
