Pet care experience
I am a graduate of California State University, Chico and I currently work at San Francisco State University with their Residential Life Department. I have experience working at Camp Bowwow, a doggie daycare and boarding facility, for nearly two years. That position gave me the opportunity to get to know many different breeds. I miss being around all the adorable pups! I have a dachshund of my own and have grown up around various breeds of dogs and cats throughout my life.🧡

Kayla was so sweet and even came early to our place to watch our pup! She sent updates while we were gone and updated us on how our dog was doing. I would 100% recommend Kayla to anyone needing puppy or dog sitting :) our dog tofu loved her!
I had the opportunity to work with Kayla at an animal shelter through a program at Chico State. She was very sweet with the animals and is overall a very caring person. For a semester, we walked shelter dogs and got to cuddle with stray kittens together and it was a very rewarding experience for the both of us.
Kayla is a very good dog sitter and cares for each and every pet she has had contact with. She loves them more than anything and will make great memories with any pet.

I would like to know if your dog has special dietary restrictions or has any nervous traits I should know about. I also would like to know if your dog is friendly with other people and pups. I have a 2 year old Dachshund named Henry who is always looking for new friends, it would be wonderful if our pups could meet one day!
A typical day
I love to play different games with the dogs that I watch such as tug-of-war or treat sneak and sniff. I take my dog weekly to the beach so he would love if a new friend could join us. Of course cuddling on the couch is also a favorite.
