I grew up with a golden retriever and Maine Coon cat. The cat was a stray kitten and we raised him for 19 great years. The dog was 8 weeks old when we brought him home. He had a fulfilling life playing “baseball” and basking in the sun. He went blind at 3 years old so we helped him adapt around the house. He still loved to chase balls! Our family went through a 4-H training program and learned about walking dogs on leashes and how to properly train them and give them praise. I have pet sat other animals (rodents, birds, fish) and am well rounded when it comes to caring for peoples furry family members. I have always been around friends’ and family’s’ dogs and am familiar with how they can act in different situations. I know how to approach dogs and let them get to know me before I become playful with them. I don't believe in physical reprimanding and will never hurt your dog. I will follow your own house rules in respect to your dog. I am an active person myself so making sure your dog gets exercise is my pleasure and my forte. Your furry (or not so furry) family member will love me!
