Growing up in a family that cherished rescue animals, the responsibility of being a pet owner became second nature to me from a young age. 🏡🐕🐾 Currently, my fur family consists of two adorable cats with heartwarming stories. Lina, a feisty short-haired black cat, was rescued from Catalina Island, just off the coast of Southern California. Duchess, a majestic long-haired white cat, found her forever home after being saved from a kill list at a shelter in Carson City, California. 🌊🐱 Having been a nanny in the past, I've had the pleasure of not only caring for children but also ensuring the well-being of the family dog(s). From walks to maintaining a consistent food and play schedule, I've handled dogs of all sizes – from pint-sized pals weighing 5 pounds to gentle giants tipping the scales at 180 pounds. 🚶♀️🐶 The well-being of your pet is my top priority. 🌟 I understand that every animal is unique, and my mission is to ensure they feel happy, loved, and well-cared-for in your absence. Kayla has been amazing to work with! She has been walking our 105 pound rambunctious lab for a few months now once or twice a week. Her communication is wonderful, she is very flexible if we have to change dates last minute and most importantly she treats our dog with love!
Kayla has lived with pets her entire life. She is caring, dependable and attentive to pets' needs. With a heart of gold, she adopted three cats from Catalina Island in 2009 when they needed a forever home. She has cared for them since then even though they were feral. She has taken care of my fur babies for many years and even my tortoise. When caring for animals she doesn't just walk and feed them but provides quality play time when we are not home. Kayla is the best pet and home sitter you will ever have.
