Pet care experience
I have had a dog since the day I was born. My husband & I have a super cute 6 year old pup, Rylie. We treat her like a human, because that's how dogs deserve to be treated. We've had friends dogs at our home for long overnight stays & Rylie loves having house guests. She gets along with all dogs! I volunteered at an animal shelter for six years before moving to Charlotte where I cleaned out cages & helped them find forever homes! I cannot get enough of dogs. :) While we are new to the Charlotte area, we're definitely experienced watching dogs overnight. We always do a meet & greet to make sure it's a good fit for all and we enjoy getting to know you & your dog.

Kayla and Riley were awesome! Our dog loved staying with them and had a great time. We were updated with pictures and texts while on our vacation which made us feel better about leaving our pooch.
Leaving for 8 days was the longest we had ever left our dogs, so when searching on Rover, we wanted to make sure we found someone caring, competent, and responsible to take care of our pups. Kayla was just that! It was also the first time we had ever hired anyone besides a family member to house sit for us, and Kayla made us feel completely comfortable with the process. She went above and beyond in making sure to spend quality time with our dogs and giving them the love, attention the exercise they needed. She even sent updates and pictures throughout the week to keep us posted and make it a little easier to be away from the dogs, knowing they were in good hands. I would recommend Kayla in a heartbeat!
Kayla treated my 13-year-old Lab sisters like part of the family. Maggie was unable to navigate the staircase to the bedroom, so Kayla took a mattress downstairs & stayed with them. She also made a ramp out of plywood so Maggie could navigate the deck in the backyard. Kayla and her husband have a nice big fenced backyard and their dog Riley is a sweet girl. I would recommend Kayla to dog sit, and I will definitely use her again in the future ?
Kayla and her husband were great watching our dog Roxy. She gave us daily updates. Roxy and her dog, Rylie, played their butts off. My wife and I are definitely glad we found Kayla instead of placing Roxy in a kennel. She received plenty of attention and love that otherwise she wouldn't of had. I recommend Kayla for watching your dog.
