Pet care experience
I feel that what sets me apart from other sitters is the reassurance i give to make sure my relationship with your pet is trustworthy enough for you to relax when your far away from your “ fur baby!” i am a free spirited ,happy go lucky 21 year old college student who is planing to become a dog trainer for guide dogs! i’ve been working in the dog industry since i was 13 years old and I have always pet sat and fostered dogs including volunteering at pet rescue/adoption centers. I have assisted people to train their dogs at their homes but also in my own. I’d like to ensure that if I am training the dog in my home, that it feels that they are enjoying their time, Id like for them to feel as if it’s a pet’s vacation instead of boot camp lol! ! i’ve been working with rescue dogs who can have problems like aggressiveness , anxiousness, skittish and hyperactivity, so being up for the challenge doesn’t scare me ! I’ve always said I wouldn’t work doing something I don’t like doing and caretaking after dogs just happen to be what I genuinely love to do. i’m currently back in school to finish getting my license/certification to be a dog trainer/handler! so I am looking for a flexible way to earn money to pay for my school while doing what i love. I have open availability due to the fact that most of my classes are online 😉 i have a full fenced back yard (6ft high) with lots of space to run around! I care for the pets in my home or if the client would like me to house sit for them i wouldn’t mind either for an additional fee.

i really only need to know the basics, such as the things the dog might not like or that it likes, if there’s a way the dog likes to be approached or touched i must know , if the dog has any injuries, as well if he doesn’t like certain noises like thunder etc. i want to make sure the dog is genuinely happy , I can only do that if the client is 100% honest with me, trust me i rather you tell me your dog is a biter right off the bat so I can prepare myself (biters don’t scare me I just need to know how to handle dogs that can be aggressive or don’t have any training ! )
A typical day
I like to make sure if I get a dog that is super active we must go on long walks or if the parent allows me to take the dog to a park or trail walk i would love to do that with their fur baby! if it’s a dog that isn’t very active but likes to enjoy the weather and sun bathe, we can do that as well!
