I used to own a bischon frise for 16 years that my mom and I took care of together, when he was getting older, we had to put belly bands on him with pads for bladder leaks. I used to walk my dog a lot and made sure he got his exercise. My mom and I always made sure he went to the groomers and that he lived out the rest of his days being comfortable and safe when he started to deal with dementia and losing his senses. He meant a lot to me, and I would love to continue to keep giving the same care and good quality of life for any animal because I know how much they mean to their human family. I have pet sat for both big and small dogs and used to give insulin shots to my fiancé's dog, Buddy, who was a diabetic yellow lab. I also have been around dogs with unique habits and quirks, in fact, my fiancé and I have had find ways to get our shih tzu to eat her food with how picky she can be.

Kayla was great with our little Otis! She was very conscientious about sending us updates and photos throughout the time that we were gone. Otis loved her and he seemed to be at ease when we got home.
Kayla was absolutely wonderful with my 2 fur babies. She gave them tons of love and attention, always kept me updated on how they were doing, and did more for them than they required. She was such a blessing to have found!
First and foremost I must say that Kayla is a huge animal lover. It is easy to tell her caring heart for dogs. Kayla is very responsible and would provide excellent companionship of the animal she would be taking care of. Any dog parent would have no worries in leaving their pup in Kayla's care.

I can make sure to leash dogs if they are a runner when they go outside and put them in crate if I am away and that is their owner's preference. There is a huge backyard also which has some privacy if I pet sit from my fiancé's home.

I need to be prepared for any kinds of behaviors or special needs in advance. I pet sat for my stepmom's and dad's dogs and I had to become knowledgeable about their quirks, so I had to make them feel comfortable with me at first since I had not been around them too often.
A typical day
I like to play tug of war and throw to them and take them for walks. I run around outside to get them to chase me also.

I work from home a few days a week and I don't usually have a lot going on in the evening time after work. I have a flexible schedule when it comes to pet sitting for the most part.
