I have always grown up having a dog in the house. My first dog ever was a sweet cocker spaniel that we had until she was 18. 5 years ago for Christmas we rescued a puppy from the shelter and he has been my family dog ever since. When I moved to Florida I was lonely and knew I wanted a pet. I found a cat sanctuary on Instagram that offered a foster to adopt program. My shy Charlie boy hated his life at the cat sanctuary, since coming to live with me he has blossomed and developed such a unique personality, he is quite the talker! Since falling in love and adopting Charlie I have fostered a few kittens and I’m always the one my friends call when they need a pet sitter. My heart is craving another pet but until I move I only have so much space. I thought this might be a great opportunity for me to play with puppies and cats and get my fix!😊

We never used Rover before but needed someone to check on our 2 cats while we were out of town. From our initial call, Kayla was very friendly and gave us background on her experience. She was also very flexible with her schedule as we thought our automatic feeder wasn’t working, and needed her to come by a day early to make sure it was working. Our very shy cats warmed up to her quickly as she played and fed them treats. Your kitties are in good hands, we will definitely use her again in the future!
I’ve known Kayla for over 5 years now and she has always had the biggest heart when it comes to caring for animals. She has her own foster kitty named Charlie and has done so much for him and for other cats that were sheltered with him as well. Your animals will be in good hands with Kayla no doubt about it.
Kayla was so amazing watching our cat! We left him with her when he was a kitten and she would send us pictures and let us know he was okay. She gave him the treats we gave her and was constantly playing with him. He came back so happy and eager to keep playing. Would highly recommend Kayla as she was so attentive and a great communicator!
Kayla is wonderful with animals. She’s has fostered many kittens and adult cats in the past few years and has worked directly with a shelter in Florida to help care for these animals in her free time. You can tell how much she cares about each animal with how hard she tries to make sure they’re each comfortable, well fed, played with and have a safe home to explore and roam around in.
