Hi My name is Kayla! I love Animals, especially dogs and cats and have grown up around them in my own home my whole life. When I was 5 I told my mom that when I grew up I wanted to be a dog walker, and Rover is helping me fulfil that childhood dream. I have worked with many clients on Rover, feel free to check out my reviews! I have been living abroad the past few years, but coming back to California I am looking to get back into dog and cat sitting and to spend some time with some furry friends! I am very responsive and will send loads of pictures while you are away. I am very active and would be excited to go for long walks or even a run with your pet. Kayla Showed up on time, sent us pictures of each outing, let us know everything was okay, and left the house in perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend her. She is responsible and communicative. And We came home to a happy Pete!
Kayla is amazing! She took great care of our pup over a long weekend and we felt perfectly comfortable leaving with her there.
Kayla is our Aussie puppy's new best friend! We were so thrilled she could watch him for a weekend, and very relaxed knowing he was in good hands when we left him for the first time. She sent us pictures throughout the weekend and stayed with him a little longer into the morning the day we came home to ensure he was extra tired! He clearly missed her, because the day we came home he kept checking out the front window to see if she was coming back :)
Kayla was AMAZING! She took such great care of my dogs and I am so grateful for her kindness. I would 100% recommend her! You will not be disappointed!

I am currently staying with my mom and we have one dog and 2 cats, therefore I would be looking after your creature in your own home, where they are most comfortable. I am very tidy, neat and respectful of my clients homes, if there are any plants that need taken care of while your away I am happy to do so as well!

A typical day
When I am taking care of your dog, I typically wake up when the dog is used to getting up, this can range from 6 am - 8 am. I am a morning person and like to get up and make sure your dog can take care of businesses if they need to in the morning. I then will either feed or take your dog for a walk depending on your requests. I like to do a longer walk in the morning to start the day right! I then try to spend some time playing with your pup and tiring them out a bit more as they can get some rest then while I work from my laptop, Mid day depending on the weather (if its too hot or not) I like to take them for a short walk or bring the dog out into the back yard and check in on how they are doing. Finally I will feed your dog dinner and then take them for another longer walk afterwards before we can cuddle up and watch some tv together or read a book!

I am currently working part time as a digital nomad. I have plenty free time and am happy to spend the day with your pet, and take them on lots of long walks and even a run if they are up for it!
