I’ve loved animals since I was a child. I raised my pup at 10yo with help of course. Then all by myself at 28yo. I am the go-to pet sitter for family and friends. I also worked at animal rescues in the city and Petsmart. I took a break from Rover after 3 years, but excited to get back into it! I consider it a privilege to provide care to your furry family member(s). I am comfortable with all temperaments, sizes, and ages of pups/cats. Also open to care for critters and reptiles.

On top of being a pet parent herself to a beautiful dog and several handsome kitties, Kayla is a champ when you need someone to take care of your furry family members. Our senior tripod cat was—let’s say “selective”—about the people she would tolerate, and Kayla took the time to make her feel comfortable and at ease when we were out of town. Since that cat’s passing, we’ve welcomed a rambunctious young kitty into our home, presenting his own personality and quirks. Kayla was up to the challenge of giving him the attention and stimulation our high-energy boy needs.
Kayla is foremost a responsibility pet owner that cares for others’ pets as if they were her own. She took great care of my cutie cat while I had an emergency, she was ready, gave my kitty medicine, played with her, treated her with the respect she deserves. I highly recommended Kayla for her responsibility and care, if you’re considering choosing her to take care of your furry friend!
Kayla is amazing with animals! You can tell she genuinely cares about the happiness and wellbeing of your pet, and she takes the time to make sure they receive the proper care. She id responsive and attentive, would definitely recommend her to watch your fur babies!

A typical day
First I like to make sure the dog knows I am a friend so I let them sniff away and use a soft voice. I don’t touch their heads out of respect. Once their body language is relaxed I will begin a walk! I let them sniff as much as they want and take the lead on direction. We will play fetch, tug, chase, find it, and I always try trick commands.
