Hello! My name is Kayla, I have a huge heart for animals. Born and raised in Wisconsin, I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life. I’ve recently moved to Fort Leavenworth and had my first born in the late summer of 2023 so I am currently a stay at home mom to the most beautiful baby girl ever. My heart is open to all dog (and cat) breeds and age! I have a kitty at home named Chester and a lab-mix bestest boy named Crosby. I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, and mice. Back home in Wisconsin, I have a pet miniature pig named Stanley whom has taught me patience, strength, and perseverance. While I may be impartial to believing I have the best dog ever, I won’t show your pup any less love than I show my own.

Kayla had been watching my two dogs for the better part of three years before her and her husband took off for Texas. They lived across the street from me and she was always thrilled to take care of my huskys whenever I had to leave town for work. She’s incredibly sweet, kindhearted, and so good with animals. I thought it was so funny she had a mini pig, he was great. I’ll miss them and I hope after her husbands contract with the army is up I’ll be able to see them again. Kayla started caring for our furbabies over ten years ago. Nala, Riley and Bobo kitty all loved her so much. We are now on our 2nd set of pups and didn't hesitate to hire her again. We have had Kayla walk, play and stay the weekend while we've been out of town. We never had to worry, and knew all would be well when we returned. She is very responsible and has been a lifesaver for those last minute requests. Our one pup has a medical issue. Kayla was very good about making sure she got her meds on time. Trixie and Diva would get so excited when she came over, and she was always punctual. We were all very sad that she moved away to Texas. We definitely know when she comes back to visit she will be welcomed with open loving paws! Lol Thank you Kayla! We hope you make many new furry friends!

As a stay at home mom, my days can vary but will usually include a walk around the neighborhood with the baby and dog, and lots of cleaning (the same room again and again and again).

Availability
While I am a stay at home mom, my baby’s needs come first. My husband and I also share a vehicle so my availability can be irregular at times but I can usually accommodate and make most drop ins or walks possible!
