Dogs are better than humans and the more we aspire to be like them the better the world gets. I love dogs and have always been an active member of my local humane society and have volunteered with non profits in several 3rd world countries for animal welfare. I am active and move around often so have not been able to have my own fur baby yet so I would be so grateful and honoured to be the best ‘ fun aunt’ to yours. I enjoy time outside as much as a dog does so I’ll be able to return your pup well exercised and ready to relax after a good hike and some fresh air and belly rubs.

Kayla is a sweet, outgoing and positive sprit that can light up a room. Your pet will instantly fall in love with her. That’s what happen with my dog. I had a delayed flight back home and my current sitter was flying back home for school. I needed to find a sitter last minute to watch my pupper for a night. Kayla came to the rescue. She gave him love and affection all the things he needed to keep him happy. I would always trust Kayla with my doggo.
Kayla is great with dogs. She’s also very outdoorsy and active and can give the 4 legged mammals a good run for their money. Our dog Keanu loves Kayla. To the point he recognizes her car and goes crazy when she arrives to pick him up. Once while out on a walk he saw a car similar to hers and he went crazy thinking it was her. We definitely trust Kayla and she’s SO worth it. I would 10/10 recommend.

I live in a studio apartment with great access to trails and an unfenced yard. Dog sitting at my house would be totally possible for the right dog that would be comfortable with a smaller space.

I have been volunteering at humane societies for years at different locations across America and abroad so have plenty of experience with dogs of all different backgrounds and temperaments. Please let me know if your dog has any known reactivity triggers or habits such as chasing, chewing, digging or escape artistry so I can do best by them and keep them as safe and comfortable and have the best time possible.
A typical day
I’m a very active person and spend my days hiking and going to the beach and it would be so great to have a furry companion to bring along for the fun.

Availability
I work in restaurants so am free every day until 3 and finish around 10pm. I would be able to take your dog out for regular runs or walks as well as house sitting in the safety and comfort of their own home.
