I am a lover of all animals but dogs are number one in my heart. I have eleven years experience caring for my fur baby, Cali. She is a senior mixed breed brindle pup, who gives the best cuddles. I'm very comfortable working with large breed dogs, especially bully breeds and working groups. Having one of my own, I understand the importance of specialized care for your pets. I offer dog-walking services and drop-in visits centered around your pets home. It's very important to me to keep your pets in their familiar environment. This helps to ease stress and tension while providing a catered service for your pet during your absence. I am experienced with administering medications, post surgical care, working with allergies, and specialized diets.

Kayla went above and BEYOND for our babies. This is the very first time I have ever left them in the 10 years I’ve had my Pom. Kayla took the time to make sure my dogs felt safe and loved. I have never had anyone in my home while I was away, so originally I was nervous when my sister recommended Rover. From the first time I had a conversation with Kayla I told my husband right away that I trusted her. She is compassionate and understanding, and overall such a great human. I actually feel like I can take mini vacations now without stressing about the dogs. They both loved her! I highly recommend Kayla to care for your pets. I felt comfortable with her in my home and with my fur babies 110%. Kayla kept in contact the whole time, and updated me with their progress. You can go away stress free if you hire Kayla. I will always request to meet your pets prior to service so they have a sense of familiarity to me when I arrive for their care during your absence. We will always discuss your vet care provider and emergency preferences in the event additional care is needed for your pet during your absence. General note - always ensure you inform family and close neighbors of any planned absence and to expect to see traffic in your home during your time away. This is a safety precaution for your care provider as well as your pet.

Does the dog have any special health care needs I should know about, including: diet, injuries/surgeries, allergies and medications. Is the dog leash/harness trained. How is the dog socially around other animals (smaller and larger) humans (children, adult males, adult females) and vehicle traffic.
A typical day
Outdoor activities will stay close to the pets home. For dog-walking services, I request that all dogs (regardless of size) are equipped with a well fitting harness and appropriate width/length leash for the dogs size and weight. This allows me to have better control of the dog while out of the home to keep them safe.
