I met Kayla during my junior year of college at Penn State University. She was in the same sorority that I rushed and we instantly became close. We were one of the few girls that both had our pets at school with us. Kayla had her bunny Benny staying with her and I had my golden retriever Jiffy. I frequently traveled to visit my boyfriend who lived 4 hours outside of State College and I did not want to transport Jiffy back and forth for a quick weekend trip. Kayla was not only eager to look after Jiffy, but she stayed at my apartment so that Jiffy did not have to be alone. I didn’t even have to ask her to stay with Jiffy, she always just offered. Kayla was quick to learn Jiffys favorite toys, snacks, and sneaky ways. A lot of people at college are eager to watch Jiffy, but the way Kayla was able to connect with Jiffy has been unmatched.
