Hello! I go to school in Stony Brook, Long Island, where I am a junior majoring in psychology. Because of this, I'm only available on certain weekends; of course I am always willing to travel if needed. During the weekdays, I can be available in the Stony Brook area if needed! In Stony Brook, I am a part of the Animal Assisted Therapy club and volunteer at the local animal shelter. I have successfully achieved a certification in animal psychology. On top of this, I am doing research for an ongoing study conducted by a wonderful sociologist; this study examines the effects and benefits of exposure and engagement between humans and dogs. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and breeds from chihuahuas to german shepards and pitbulls. I love them all. I have worked with timid dogs, aggressive, and energetic dogs alike. I would love to know a little bit about your dogs personality and behavior. I grew up with dogs, so I know how much of an important part of the family they are and the role they play. Its hard to put your trust in someone you don't know, so I will gladly keep in touch and send updates! I live a few blocks from Prospect Park; I would love to bring your dog there to play or go on those long walks that everyone loves.
