Taking dogs on daily walks are very important as they help strengthen the bond with their owner/companion, socialize with other dogs, experience new smells other than their own, and positively impact their mental and physical health. Also, each pup is different and may have different needs. As a former funner and a believer in staying fit and daily exercise, I would gladly take active and high-energy dogs on fun walks around the neighborhood or take them to the dog park (if its not to hot). For repeat clients and pups who I've built a strong connection with, I would be open to taking on hikes or to the beach! For the more laid back or mellow dogs, low intensity and relaxed walks are my go to, and I'll choose different routes and streets to keep it interesting. Living in Pearl City and being central to everything, I have access to great dog parks, walking paths and trails, and beaches 20 minutes away. I also have a large fenced in yard with a covered patio at my home, with tons of room for sniff and play! I am open to maintaining and instilling basic commands (sit, lay down, handshake, roll over) during our sit-ins. It will take that stress off you as an owner, and allow your pet to be more engaged and well-behaved at home!
