Pet care experience
My 28 year old sister with special needs and I have always grown up with both dogs and cats in our home ever since we were babies. I recently got guardianship of my sister but unfortunately our current apartment does not allow dogs. We both miss caring for our family dogs and figured this could be a great way to do so! The extra money earned from dog walking and puppy sitting will go towards our dream Community Cafe project for adults with special needs!!

I always ensure to understand and get to know the pets personality as that will determine how to interact with them as well as gain their trust. As a child, all of my dogs were adopted from shelters. In these circumstances, ensuring to gain the animals trust through slow exposure is crucial as many have come from abusive homes.

I work both Monday & Tuesdays as a personal attendant for a women with a physical impairments and special needs. I am free all day Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays! I am occasionally available on weekends with a heads up.
