Pet care experience
Dogs have been with my family for many years and I have been responsible for caring for my own pets for as long as I can remember! I currently have quite the little zoo of my own and treat every animal as if they were mine! I am a dog enthusiast and have even worked as a vet tech for nearly 10 years! I love meeting new pups and can handle just about anything (the tempers too the poo). I also studied a few years of pre-vet and animal science at the University of Findlay (before I directed my major towards horses)! Right now my schedule is flexible, and I will be open to overnight stays once I create a relationship with my clientele (:

Kayla H. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
Kayla was wonderful. This was our first try using Rover and we were a bit nervous to leave our "kids" with someone we didn't know. But from the first talk and visit with Kayla we knew she was going to do a great job. She connects with the animals and they respond to her so easily. She always kept us informed and sent pictures at least twice a day... she is the best and we plan to book with her in the future. You couldn't find a better house guest and pet care person!
Kayla went above and beyond watching our dog! We received pictures and updates from her every day. We would recommend her services to our friends and family.

I will take precautions entering any home with animals unfamiliar to me, however I do prefer to meet first! From there I will treat your pets as my own and follow all instructions given to me at owner discretion. I hope to make every visit a comfortable and easy time.
Information Kayla H. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know that the dog/cat has a current rabies vaccination. I would also like to know of any health problems up front. I also prefer not to work with Siberian Huskies or other breeds of that nature. (I have a bad childhood past with some negative experiences with the breed....nothing personal)
A typical day
On home visits, I will play with your pup and/or cat(s) however he or she feels comfortable! Whether it’s a quick game of fetch, just a little tug or simply some time with lots of petting. I hope to figure out what your animal(s) likes! On walks, I can keep it simple and take a nice walk around the block or maybe even go to a park! Whatever the owner prefers!

I currently work full time however I am off for lunch between 1-3pm, off for the night at 6pm. Available after 12-noon on Saturday and all day Sunday’s !
