Pet care experience
I have been actively caring for pets since I was 12 years old. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and would care for a my neighbors dogs frequently. I have experience training dogs and working with dogs of various breeds. My family owned a black mouth cur, and two Australian shepherd mixes. I have worked with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I trained my current dog as a service medical alert dog, he is half Chihuahua and half Cavalier. If your pup need companionship or gets lonely when you are away, my dog Hachi and I will make sure your pup is as at home and comfortable as possible.

There is no question that Kayra is a dog's best friend. She started pet sitting in middle school and her services, even as a middle school student were in high demand. Why? Kayra does not view being with dogs as a job, she does it because she has a genuine love for their company. She keeps a keen eye on your dog while out and about, and always has some extra treats and dog bags handy. She is a great communicator, not only with your dog but with you. Be prepared to be asked all about your special animal. Best of all she is dependable. She will not take a job she can not handle. If she meets you and your fur baby then agrees that it is a fit, you'll have a winner for sure.

I do not have a fenced yard. I currently live in a small apartment. I have a small dog named Hachi, who is exceptional with other dogs. He is fixed, and is four years old. If your dog is good with other dogs, then I'm sure it will be a good fit. I provide frequent walks, plenty of interactive time, and Hachi is a fantastic companion as well for your pup. I am a Buddhist and firmly believe that every animal deserves the best care and respect possible. I love all animals, but especially dogs!
Information Kayla G. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know if your dog needs any special attention, or has any specific dietary needs. I want to provide as much support as I can to your dog while you are away. I also need to know if your dog gets along with other dogs, as I do have a small dog of my own. If your dog has anxiety, has trouble with storms, gets easily frightened, etc. please let me know! I will discuss what can be done with you ahead of time and we will come up with the best possible solutions to keep your buddy as safe and comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I often take Hachi on walks to the dog park on Kent Campus. There are also several smaller trails that we go for walks on frequently. I love to spend time outdoors during the warmer weather, and whenever possible during cooler weather too. I enjoy playing games and practicing basic training, (i.e. sit, stay, come, down, etc) with dogs as well to keep them entertained.

I am a student at Kent State University currently, for the time being my classes are online and my days are flexible. I am able to make plenty of time to interact with your pet!
