Hi there! My name is Kayla , I’m 22 years old and I’m studying business management up at UND! Owning a dog myself since I was 11 years old, I know the ins and outs about the needs of dogs of all age ranges, from a young, high energy puppy, to a senior dog with congestive heart failure. I’m comfortable giving dogs medication, taking them to dog parks, making homemade dog treats to spoil them, grooming, bathing, and giving them all my love and attention! I’m a certified volunteer at the Circle of Friends Humane Society where I dedicate some time monthly during my free time. Aside from spending time at the humane society, I spend a lot of time educating myself on my dogs current, and more recent diagnosis of congestive heart failure to make her life more comfortable and happy! So to say I’ve been making lots of jerky/homemade treats, and taking her on lots of stroller rides is an understatement! If your dog has any medical issues, I’d gladly take the time to educate myself as much as possible to ensure your loved one is as comfortable as possible! Some other small things I do for my dog that I don’t normally hear of, is I tend to change my dogs water quite frequently to ensure it’s fresh commonly, and hand wash food dishes to ensure cleanliness! I can also wear a mask, or clean/sanitized any surfaces touched during my stay, including your pets leash, collar, etc. you name it, it’s sanitized! I’m so excited to meet you and your fur baby!! I’ll gladly answer as many questions as you may have upon booking me if desired! :)

Kayla is one of the gentlest and most selfless friends I have, and I have never known anyone else as attentive to their dog's needs as Kayla is to her Schnauzer, Darbie. A natural giver and dog person, pups approach her whenever we go on walks together, and I know they can sense her gentle spirit and tell she is a friend. Although I do not personally have a dog, I have previously asked her to plant sit for me. When I came home after a week, my garden was flourishing, and it was clear she had given even more to my plants than I usually did. This is not unusual for Kayla, but rather simply who she is. She lives to share her love with the world, and this will easily translate to your pup. She understands that dogs aren't just animals--they're family. She will make sure they are treated accordingly, neither getting away with naughty behavior nor being ignored. Kayla is trustworthy and responsible. You can't go wrong choosing her to meet all of your dog-related needs.

I’m a huge fan of big walks, a tired pup is a good pup! If walks aren’t their thing, I’d gladly take them to the nearest dog park (weather permitting of course!) where they can socialize with other dogs! I can provide lots of play time with toys, practicing dog tricks with them if desired, and brush them to look all beautiful for you upon arriving home! :)
