For the past two years, I have worked as an Animal Wellness Supervisor at pet boarding facilities for cats and dogs. As an AWS, I direct my team, give medications, give bordatella vaccines, feed, organize daycare groups, tend to injuries or group "arguments," hang out with the dogs in the group, and so much more. I absolutely love what I do and want to ensure all the pups in town are happy. I have plenty of experience and am always eager to learn more! I am certified in pet CPR and first aid. As part of my job, I take other classes such as dog behavior, how to evaluate and greet a new dog, daycare training, etc. I love being around animals and dreamed of being a veterinarian. Now that I'm all grown up, I still want to spend every moment of my life with dogs! I want to help pups by being a great caretaker. I currently have three cats. Though I mainly had cats growing up, I have also spent time with Moose, my parent's black lab. I even cared for rabbits at one point in my life as well. I like that you have to work with cats to gain their trust and love. I enjoy working with dogs that are shy and might need extra assistance in social situations.
