My name's Kayla! I've been an animal lover all my life, and have been "mom" to many very loved pets over the years. One of my best friends in life was a chihuahua-terrier mix named Chi-Chi. Unfortunately, at 9 years of age, she passed away due to cancer that began as a mast cell tumor. Fortunately, I was able to help triple her life expectancy & increase her quality of life by using a combination of well-researched natural remedies & allopathic prescriptions. I have a special place in my heart for elderly pets & pets with medical needs. I like getting to know your pet on an individual level, and I will happily and patiently customize my care to adapt to any needs your pet may have. I specialize in dog walking and house sitting, but am also willing to walk cats! I care a lot about your pet's comfort and safety, and stay alert to any variables that would affect the comfort of your pet's experience while walking. I tend to walk barefoot during the warmer months. I know this may sound a bit goofy, but I believe it really helps me put myself in your dog's shoes -- which is no shoes! This allows me to stay aware of the temperature of different walking surfaces to keep your precious pup's sensitive foot pads nice & comfortable. I also carry a collapsible water dish & bottles of water on me at all times, to keep your pet well-hydrated. While I am not technically a "professional" pet trainer, I love to utilize Cesar's (the "Dog Whisperer's") methods of training while house sitting, if requested. I love giving & receiving cuddles, and I know your dog will have lots of fun under my care! I look forward to working with your furry friend!
