Hi! My name is Kayla, and I am very excited to be taking care of your fur babies! I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a passion for caring for all animals. I have been taking care of a wide range of animals since I was 10 years old. While in college, I worked at a pet store where I cared for and cleaned all different types of animal species and habitats. After two years, I then went onto to work as a kennel caretaker/veterinarian assistant trainee at an animal hospital, while still being a full time student. I am currently living in a house with a fenced in yard, with my sweet dog Ginger, and my rabbit Theodore. I love and care for all animals like they are part of the family. I promise to go above and beyond while caring for your animals and will make sure they are comfortable and happy while you are away! Some, but not all, of my animal caregiving skills include: -bathing -nail clipping -vaccinating/injections -medicating -cleaning habitats of reptiles, fish tanks, bird cages, etc. -walking I’m currently working as a contractor, so i can make my own schedule and make sure to make plenty of time to care for your pets! I will make sure to meet all the needs required of your pet and will take care of them and love them like they are my own!
