Throughout my entire life, I've been surrounded by cats, dogs and a menagerie of friend's and family's pets including, chickens, horses, sugar gliders, chinchillas, rabbits, fish, birds, ferrets, turtles, snakes, goats and pigs! If you have a pet that you have a hard time finding care for, please reach out! Over the past 8 years, I've been involved in fostering cats, kittens, and dogs of all ages, sizes, and with varying behavioral and medical needs. Facing significant behavior challenges with my older dog, such as anxiety, sound sensitivity, and reactivity, I've dedicated myself to learning about positive reinforcement and science-based training methods, through many trainers, courses and online schools. I am also well-versed in canine body language. I have experience with a wide array of enrichment activities, ideal for moments when your dog cannot go out or simply prefers to stay indoors. Comfortable with dogs exhibiting fear-based reluctance to venture outside, as well as dogs that are reactive to other dogs, humans, vehicles, prey animals. I'm committed to patiently working with stranger-danger dogs(cats or whatever animal you have) until they acclimate to my presence. I'm comfortable, and familiar with, administering various types of medication, even to dogs who are cunning enough to detect it in cheese and spit it out. I understand the emotional turmoil of needing care for your best friend, especially one with nervous tendencies. I consistently treat others' pets as if they were my own and meticulously adhere to provided instructions.
