Former Vet Nurse Working From Home
Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my entire life and started a career as a veterinary nurse as soon as I finished school. After several years in that profession, I decided to “retire” and now work from home to spend more time with my own pets (and yours)!
Reviews
Kayla gets two stars because when she showed up, she did the work. She no call no showed to close things out and STILL has my house key. Very disappointing.
Kayla is a GREAT dog-walker! So respectful and caring for my home and pooch. She has a way with animals, is very gentle and always gets Royce to go further in a day than I can. 😊 Glad to have her on my team and can rest assured that my doggo is taken care of— so I can be more efficient in my work and life. Thanks, Kayla!
This sitter did not follow care instructions and allowed my pet to eat other foods not allowed per care instructions. My dog developed vomiting and bloody diarrhea and is very sick needs to see a vet now. Don't send your dog here if you value their health.
Thank you so much, Kayla for taking care of Maggie! She is SUCH an anxious big baby, but you did everything you could to make her (and me) feel comfortable. You were always quick in response to any questions I had and up front with the other animals you had in your care. Will definitely use your services if I need help in the future.

Safety, trust & environment
For drop-ins and walks I will require a meet and greet to ensure that your pet feels comfortable with me and you can ask me any questions you may have. I also have lots of experience administering medications. For daycare and boarding, I have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run around. I work from home, so there is constant supervision. I also will only accept pets from one household at a time to prevent conflicts and ensure each pet gets enough care and attention.

Information Kayla E. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet requires any special accommodations, such as administering medications, crating when left alone (on the rare instance that I need to run an errand), etc.
A typical day
I work from home, so your pet will have constant supervision. They can have fun playing both indoors and in the fully fenced backyard and will get frequent potty breaks.

Availability
I am available for drop-ins or walks anytime on Mondays or Tuesdays and before 2pm the rest of the week. I can also provide daycare and boarding in my home any day of the week if your pet gets along well with other dogs and cats!
