Pet care experience
I’ve never not had a dog(s) in my life. My dogs are a little older, so we typically take shorter ‘sniffing’ walks around our pond in the back. I enjoy watching and interacting with dogs and learning their behaviors. I worked as kennel staff at a vet in high school.

Kayla was a very knowledgeable and loving caregiver, loaded with fun things for our McDoogle to do. I loved the connection of notes and pictures that she sent. We missed our boy, and being connected helped a lot. McDoogle looked very happy and comfortable in all the pics. I recommend Kayla!! She is awesomely responsible and a joy to know.

This is the first time that our puppy was spending the night away from us. Kayla kept Willow in her home for 3 days/2 nights. She was very patient with Willow and by the end of her stay, Willow was adjusting to her routine in her temporary home. Kayla is a true dog lover that treats her doggie guests as if they were home. I have already booked Kayla for our summer vacation as I know how well our Willow will be cared for.

I have a fenced in yard. I have 2 older dogs (Yorkie-13 years, lab-12 years). They both have great demeanors and get along with any other dogs I’ve introduced them to. I only book one client at a time. I’m pretty accustomed to selective eaters (thanks to my Yorkie). I will sit on floor and hand feed to get going if necessary.

A typical day
Your puppers would have 2 play pals all day. They would be let outside frequently. I have an hour lunch so that can be play/walk time. We have a very pretty pond behind our house that is great for a short walk.

Availability
I’m flexible on availability as I work from home. I’m not on many conference calls so I’m able to go outside frequently and have an hour lunch for play. As long as it’s not too muddy, I usually do a walk around the pond with the dogs after work. I’m with your pup almost 100% of the time.
